First Goodreads Rating for Jenkins’ Ear

I have to confess, I get a real sense of accomplishment when I get a positive rating or review. It’s confirmation that my work is worthwhile and that I should continue writing.

I just got the first rating for Jenkins’ Ear on Goodreads, and I was happy to see a five-star rating appear on the page for the first time.

I am also delighted that I have maintained a solid rating on Goodreads for my first book, Yamacraw Bluff, and, after 22 ratings, have kept a perfect five-star rating on Amazon.

This is confirmation for me that people have enjoyed reading my work. Despite it being my first foray into fiction.
